Electric Cars 100 Years Ago

The Never Satisfied: Camille Jenatzy, in the driver’s seat, with his wife on the victory parade on 1 May 1899. The Belgian race car driver had in his electric car “La Jamais Contente” – “The never Satisfied” – on 29 April 1899 in Paris at Achères the first driver to exceed 100 kilometers per hour mark.
