Electric Cars 100 Years Ago
The First Hybrid: The idea of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor to drive an automobile to combine with each other is not new. Ferdinand Porsche developed until 1899. Porsche introduced its development at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. The picture, taken on 15 November 2007 in Los Angeles shows the model Semper Vivus from 1900.
